Dolores O'Riordan

Yodel breaks, Irish lilt, and emotional transparency—songstress who made vulnerability sound anthemic.

Biography

As frontwoman of The Cranberries, Dolores O'Riordan channelled trauma, politics, and devotion into melodies heard worldwide.

Solo recordings stretched her piano balladry and harder rock impulses without diluting the idiosyncratic phrasing fans recognised instantly.

Stations honouring 90s alternative still lean on her timbre when linking Irish melody to alt-rock muscle.

Remastered streaming keeps breath noise, string harmonics, and guitar jangle intact—details central to her intimate power.
